Angel Fire Ski Area Map
With front and backside high-speed chairlifts, shorter lift lines and lower lift ticket prices than most other mountains in the Southern Rockies, it's certain you'll get more powder and bang for your buck at Angel Fire. Featuring: 2,077 Feet of Vertical Drop, 74 Trails, and 2 Freestyle Parks.

Angel Fire Village Map
Angel Fire is a village in Colfax County, New Mexico, United States. The population was 1,048 at the 2000 census. It is a popular ski resort destination, with a base elevation of 8,600 feet (2,621 miles) and a summit of 10,677 feet (3,254 miles) with over 500 acres (2 square kilometers) of skiable terrain.

Cimarron Canyon State Park
Cimarron Canyon State Park is three miles east of Eagle Nest along U.S. Highway 64. There is a $5 per vehicle day use fee. A $40 annual pass is available which is valid in all New Mexico State Parks. Hikers and fishermen with vehicles will be required to have a valid pass or pay the $5 fee.

Elliot Barker Trail Complex
The Elliot Barker trail complex has a variety of routes to explore. The trailhead is located on Highway 64 at a sharp turn at the bottom of Palo Flechado Pass and the blinking light on Highway 434. It is well marked and has an improved parking area. The trails are open four seasons and support many activities including:

- X-Country Skiing

Green Belt Trails
This series of trails makes use of public areas connected on the west side by the Coyote trail and on the east side by the Bobcat trail. These trails are well marked and friendly for hiking, biking, snowshoeing and x-country skiing. Alpine wildflowers, aspens and many varieties of grasses are abundant on all of the trails. Old structures from the ranching days are visible and deer, coyote, elk and the occasional bear are visitors around dawn and dusk.

Lake Trail & Lady Slipper Trail
The Lake trail and the Lady Slipper trail combine to give views of Monte Verde lake, wetlands, streams, forest and the mountains. These trails start at the parking area of Monte Verde Lake, just off Mountain View Boulevard.

Oeste Vista Trail
The Oeste Vista Trail combines hiking through deep forest of ponderosa and pinion trees with grand views of Monte Verde Lake, Angel Fire Golf Course and Wheeler Peak wilderness. The trail starts across from the Angel Fire Country Club entrance on Mountain View Boulevard (New Mexico Highway 434). From the information sign, head east on the dirt road and make a right at the trail sign to the trailhead. After a short and moderately steep beginning, the trail heads south to a picnic table. The trail winds back around to the north with great views and returns to the parking lot.

Sendero del Sol & Bobcat Trails
Sendero del Sol trail begins on North Angel Fire Road just east of the Angel Fire Fire Station. The trail moves north to the Angel Fire solar array and loops back south across North Angel Fire Road. This trail provides a fairly level walk along the valley floor with great views of the area. Heading south, the trail connects to the Bobcat trail just south of South Angel Fire Road and loops back north into the core Village area. Bobcat trail runs along Mountain View Boulevard from the center of the Village south to Olympic Park.
This trail also acts as a connector for the Greenbelt trails.
