Angel Fire Ski Area Map

With front and backside high-speed chairlifts, shorter lift lines and lower lift ticket prices than most other mountains in the Southern Rockies, it's certain you'll get more powder and bang for your buck at Angel Fire. Featuring: 2,077 Feet of Vertical Drop, 74 Trails, and 2 Freestyle Parks.

Angel Fire Village Map

Angel Fire is a village in Colfax County, New Mexico, United States. The population was 1,048 at the 2000 census. It is a popular ski resort destination, with a base elevation of 8,600 feet (2,621 miles) and a summit of 10,677 feet (3,254 miles) with over 500 acres (2 square kilometers) of skiable terrain.

Cimarron Canyon State Park

Cimarron Canyon State Park is three miles east of Eagle Nest along U.S. Highway 64. There is a $5 per vehicle day use fee. A $40 annual pass is available which is valid in all New Mexico State Parks. Hikers and fishermen with vehicles will be required to have a valid pass or pay the $5 fee.

Elliot Barker Trail Complex

The Elliot Barker trail complex has a variety of routes to explore. The trailhead is located on Highway 64 at a sharp turn at the bottom of Palo Flechado Pass and the blinking light on Highway 434. It is well marked and has an improved parking area. The trails are open four seasons and support many activities including:

  • Snowmobiles
  • Snowshoe
  • Wildlife Viewing
  • X-Country Skiing
