2012 Village Candidates Announced
Terry Cordova, Village Clerk of Angel Fire announced the following candidates have filed for the Village election, set for March 6, 2012. Candidates are given in alphabetical order.
For the position of Mayor for a four-year term:
Barbara Cottam
Charles E. Howe
Janet Sailor
Donald Welker
For the two positions of Councilor for a four-year term:
Brinn Colenda
Penny L. Davey
Leonard Bubba Davis
Christina Germscheid
Deborah Beauchamp-May
For the position of Municipal Judge for a four-year term:
Richard S. Hill
Write-in Candidates have until January 18, 2012 at 5:00 PM to declare their candidacy to the Village Clerk, at Village Hall, 3388 Mountain View Blvd., Angel Fire.
March 2, 2012 at 5:00 PM is the last date for absentee ballots to be received, in person at, or mailed from Village Hall. After 5:00 PM all unused absentee ballots will be publicly destroyed.
Election Day is March 6, 2012. Voting times are between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM.
