Municipal Election Set
On Tuesday, November 28, 2017, the Village of Anegl Fire Council authorized a municpal election to be held on March 6, 2018. The election is held to elect two Village Councilors to four-year terms and one Village Councilor to a two-year term.
The designated polling place for the election is the Angel Fire Community Center, 15 CS Ranch Road in Angel Fire. Polls will be open on March 6, 2018 from 7 AM to 7 PM. All voting will be recorded on ICP Electronic Voting Tabulators.
All Declarations of Cadidacy must be filed on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 between the hours of 8 AM and 5 PM. Candidate Packets are available at the Village Clerk's office beginning, Wednesday, November 29, 2017.
Registered Voters of the Village of Angel Fire may obtain an application for absentee voting from the office of the Village Clerk. All applications for absentee ballots must be recieved in the Clerk's Office prior to 5 PM on March 2, 2018. All unused absentee ballots will be destroyed by the Village Clerk after 5 PM on March 2, 2018.
Early Voting, by paper ballot, will be conducted in the office of the Village Clerk during regular business days and hours beginning Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at 8 AM and ending on March 2, 2018 at 5 PM.
