Fun for Kids in the Mountains
Camp Angel Fire is the summer recreation program based at the Angel Fire Community Center. This program is geared for kids aged 5 years (must have attended kindergarten) through aged 12 years.
Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM this structured recreation program gives kids a chance to get outside and enjoy all that Angel Fire has to offer. Tennis, mountain biking, hiking, ropes courses, are some of the outdoor activities. There are also classes in art and cooking and playing volleyball, basketball and learning yoga and martial arts.
Pack a knapsack with lunch, two snacks, a filled water bottle with a closable cap, a towel, your swimsuit, sunscreen and a rain jacket or warm outter clothing. Be sure to wear close-toed shoes for hiking and biking.
Rates are for all day or weekly. There are half-day rates available on a limited basis. There are also rates for multiple kids from the same household. Kids must be acompanied by a parent for the registration process. Payments may be made by cash, check or credit card at regisration. In order to insure space, preregistration can be taken care of by calling 575-377-1544.
