Phase one of Allen Fields has one international soccer field with two softball fields inlaid on it. The fields are constructed in artificial turf. Phase two will consist of another international-sized soccer field with two more softball fields inlaid on it, giving us a softball quad. Phase three will include two baseball fields. The entire complex will also have trails, picnic areas and playgrounds.

Allen Fields hosts soccer, softball and rugby tournaments. The fields are also available for soccer play for our local high school and youth soccer league.
Hours of Operation
The regular hours of operation for the Allen Fields are April through November and the fields are open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. The fields are closed December through March. The hours of operation are subject to change based on weather, tournament bookings and previously booked usage.
Closing the Field
There are many factors that go into the closing of the field such as water/rain, drainage, weather forecast and safety. The fields may look dry, however there may still be safety issues to consider. The staff are professionals and do the best they can to keep the fields ready for games and practices.
We want every game scheduled to be played as rain-outs cause problems in rescheduling for everyone. There will be times when the umpires may call a game due to weather conditions. Remember, it may not be raining but lightning is a serious threat in New Mexico and fields will be closed if lightning becomes a threat.
